Easiest 2 Ingredient Milk
If making your own milk sounds intimidating and like far too much effort, then boy, are we about to change your mind!
It’s budget friendly, environmentally friendly, and just an all-round nifty skill to know. You’ll never be without milk another day in your life.
If you’ve got these two ingredients, five minutes, and a bowl of dry cereal just waiting to be quenched, look no further than this recipe.
What you need
- 1L water
- 5 tbsp. nut butter (eg. almond, cashew, macadamia)
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Put everything into a blender and blend on high for 2-3 minutes. You want the milk to be light and frothy.
Pour into a jug with a lid, and pop in the fridge until ready to serve. It tastes better cold!
✨ RECIPE NOTES ✨
- Optional ingredients: You really only need the nut butter and the water to make nut milk, but the additional ingredients serve to elevate the milk.
- Storage: Store this in the fridge for up to a week, as you would store bought.
