✨ RECIPE NOTES ✨
- “Dirty” Martini: add a splash of olive brine to the mixture before stirring or shaking.
- Vodka “Kangaroo” Martini: replace the gin in this recipe with vodka.
- With a vodka martini we prefer a lemon twist. To create a lemon twist garnish, use a vegetable peeler or paring knife to remove a thin strip of lemon peel, being careful to avoid the bitter white pith. Gently twist the peel over the martini to release its oils, then drop it into the glass or drape it over the rim.
- Did you know? According to superstition, it’s bad luck to serve a martini with two olives, which is why martinis are typically served with 1 or 3. Do with this what you will, or serve your martini with a whole bowl!
